Dear Joy,
It was so very nice to hear from you in July. Time has passed and I hope that you corageous dear are doing even a little bit better now. It is nice to have neighbors that are friends. I have a very dear friend that lives quite nearby also and am very grateful for that fact.
I hope your daughter is feeling better. Medicines are helping more and more with this disease and will one day be able to cure it . It is a hard and sometimes barely endurable illness. I had my first depression when I was nineteen years old and one of my daughters, when she was twenty. I can put myself easily in "your shoes", mothers certainly do not like their children to suffer.
How is your kitty doing? Animals are such great companions. I have three cats left and one dog. It is hard to put them to sleep when they get too frail to enjoy life any more and I have gone through that often enough with quite a few. They always stay in your memory though and keep
making you happy
How was Tulsa? Were "the kids" you grew up with too old to remember you? I bet you had a wonderful time with them.
And the time you spent with your #1 son and granddaughter?
Did you have a nice time with your brother? I am so glad that you had so many different and happy events.
I do think of you and pray that your life will go on being
content and healthy. God bless you Joy and please receive a warm hug from me. Edith.
