Hi folks,
Steve's message about caring for his wife for twelve years got me thinking.
Throughout these past eight years my wife has also cared for me, and has been the rock that I have been able to lean on and count on. I can only guess how difficult my having myositis has been for her to cope with, and she has done it bravely and with a great deal of courage. When I have faltered she has picked me up and guided me to safety, and her steadfast love for me has humbled me.
I see a lot of me's in this posting, and really I wanted it to be about my Dianne. We will be married for 42 years tomorrow and I am grateful for every minute that I have been privileged to spend with her. She has given me her unstinting love for more than 42 years now and I'm not sure that I would have survived my encounter with myostis as well as I have without her. Every day I wake up I thank God she is there beside me, and for the depth and power of her love.
I am a very lucky man.Kind Regards and Be Strong, Ed.
