Yesterday I was at the rheumotologist and we were discussing my bone density test last June and the fact that I can't take Boniva in pill form. He told me that you can have Boniva given through an IV drip every three months. I had never heard of it before. I asked about the new ReClast, once a year shot, but he likes to be conservative and said if there was a reaction, right now there wasn't anything you could do to counteract it., so he would wait a while before prescribing that. I am having another bone density done in June and then we will probably do the IV. Carol in N. Fla
