I found a Dr. who ordered a(n) EMG study even though my enzyme levels were normal - and even though very uncomfortable - this test was not only indicative of DM it pinpionted a site for muscle biopsey. The muscle biopsy confirmed DM. The Dr's here (near Dallas, Texas) love to run blood tests over and over, but if the tests don't meet some arbitrary, magic, results... I don't know, I got the brush off for months. I hate to hear you are forced in a wheelchair - God Bless and keep you safe - Cyndi
