I got a call from the infusion nurse today. She wanted to make sure I was doing better and after talking to the doc, has suggested I get IVIg every other week instead of two doses in one week every month. Fortunately, it's going to work out okay with my schedule. They also want to try solumedrol before the IVIg instead of decadron. Knowing I have a great nurse looking out for me definitely helps. It gets overwhelming trying to deal with this on my own. Feeling better today - at least I wasn't the patient laying in bed with a huge gaping wound on my rear!!! Sometimes it helps to see that things could be worse. I'm not the 20-something chick in class out having fun on Friday nights but I'm alive and passing my classes. Oh, this week is nurse's week - make sure you thank the fantastic nurse's you know! Chy
