I'm sorry to hear Lyndsie didn't make it into the program this time around. Will she apply for programs elsewhere? Here, as long as you've gotten a C or higher in all your prerequisites and pass the Nursing Entrance Test with 50% in Math and Reading, you'll eventually get in. I hear the wait is approaching two years at this point. I got into an accelerated program that had additional requirements and higher admission standards. Otherwise, I'd probably still be waiting. I know a few people who are moving out of state because they don't want to wait so long to start. I had considered moving back home - in fact, I had already started packing boxes when I got my acceptance letter for the program I'm in. A few weeks ago I got a call from the college back home telling me I was on the alternate list and could probably plan to start next January... by then I'll be weeks away from finals in my last block.
I'm sure the fatigue is the dermato and I doubt I have any sleep problems. There is a definite pattern related to my IVIg treatments. I do great for a couple weeks after and then get more and more fatigued until IVIg again. I'm glad I'll be getting it every other week now instead of once a month. That should help with the wide swings.
