Leg numbness

Hi everyone-

I had the strangest night with my neck hurting and both legs feeling numb. It's better this morning but not totally gone.I was suppose to see my rheumy Monday but he is ill and won't be down until August. We only have one visiting rheumy. It's probably just one of the many weird symptoms we experience on occasion.

I hope everyone else is well.

Hugs to you all,
Jan

Jan -

In our support group meeting last Saturday, the Neurologist told of studies being made with PM and IBM patients who get a form of Neuropathy. For the two Myositis diseases combined, test prove about 35+ % get Neuropathy. For IBM'ers, the ratio is about 20+ %.

Neuropathy isn't a disease, it is an "ailment" that connects itself with about 30 other diseases like diabetis, numb feet, sharp pain in legs and thighs.

Happy Mother's day to you.
Jim

Jim-

I'm at the point with this disease, that I have had all of that and more.I dislike the fatigue because there is so much I would like to do but find the days slipping by with little accomplished. The mundane things take up our precious but small reserve of energy.

I was telling someone about our motor home adventures and how much I miss them.I haven't been flying around the winding, narrow curves, in the mountains, with my want to be race car driver hubby lately.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms.

Jan
