Thanks for the reply. Sorry for the ranting. The stress gets to be so much sometimes I just need to vent.

I do have some good news though. After 5 tries I did manage to get a hold of someone from Social Security. He said not to worry about having my aunt fill out the paperwork. He just needed my financial information and my new address. I did tell him that my aunt was not my care giver. She was just giving my shelter. I wonder if that helped.

I have been approved for Social Security. The letter I received told me how much I would get but it also stated something like it might be adjusted for SSI. So I'm not sure how much I'll get in the end but I have a little hope.
