Well Bill I hope you enjoyed your 4th of July. I did. I also want to tell you what happened at the VA recently. The Rheumy has decided to increase my pred dosage to 60mg daily. He says that it seems like 15mg is not doing much and that he wants to attack with a stronger dosage for a month and continue to monitor my vitals. He is concerned with combining meds due to my Hep C condition. My Hep C tests have come down however since my initial flare up of this condition (from the 300 range to 150 range SGPT and SGOT). It was also recommended that I increase my calcium intake to 1500mg daily, vitamin D to 1000mg. What are your thoughts on this? God bless. Vic
