Kathy, I would definitely try to see a speech therapist about this problem. At least they may have suggestions how to deal with it better. I do not think it is very common for us IBMers, but probably related to our diagnosis and connected to our swallowing problems. I definitely have had voice chances to the point that I cannot sing or whistle anymore but my speech is not affected per se. I do have a friend with dx of IBM that has speech problems also.
