Good questions. There was an article that indicated it improved muscle strength in mice. There is now research being done on humans.

is the web page to see. How and what dose I am not sure, though I guess the research group is trying several different doses. I am on 300 mg per day, but I go back to my neurologist in a week or so. I'm sure he'll do a blood test to see what the levels are. Since he is not part of the research but is just trying to help me find something that may help, we do no know what doses work. But, it would be nice if something did help.
For now I am getting worse and that is depressing, as you know. But, I'll definitely let you know how things go.
