MDA ordered an Emerson Cough Assist machine for me and if
I use it (as directed) every morning for about 30 minutes if really helps clear the phlegm. It pushes air into the lungs on the inhale and really sucks out hard on the exhale. They are available at Walgreen. The settings are adjustable. I really appreciate your tips Diana. I do that at restaurants,etc but hadn't thought of it for parties. A choking episode really sort of takes the fun out of an occasion for everyone. Suzy/IBM |
