Hello Everyone and thank you, Ralph for posting the information about the funeral arrangements.
I will be collecting posts to share at Jim's funeral on Saturday. If anyone has any stories they would like to share about how Jim has touched their lives, or any humorous stories about Jim, please post a message on the board or email me directly at kellypmiller@me.com. Jim and his family want this to be a "celebration of life." He has always told me he didn't want "one of those sad, dreary funerals" and that the hard part is now over for him. In fact, when he could still play the organ, he recorded his music that will be played at his funeral. Let me tell you, for those who have never heard him play, you will be quite amazed that the frail Jim of late could play like that! I did not meet Jim until after he had to quit playing but every time I hear the recordings I try to picture him on the organ bench playing his heart out. Music was such a huge passion for him and once he fell ill and had to start spending more time at home, he would listen to music all day long while at his computer.I will post more later, but for now, please send in those stories and posts so that I can share them with everyone on Saturday. I'll be in touch soon and we will figure out where to go from here, as every organization needs a leader, and we have sure lost a great one. Talk about someone who would keep you in line! He has been a mentor and best friend to me for 15 years and I'm just as lost as everyone else right now in figuring out what comes next so please be patient while Jim's family and I figure everything out. Thank you all, Kelly Miller,
Webmaster
