I first met Jim in Dallas at one of the IBM group meetings, soon after I was diagnosed with IBM. His positive attitude, his concern for all IBM'ers, his vibrant personality gave all of us at that meeting such a help in our acceptance of this dread disease.
Some years later, at Thanksgiving time he posted a message on the Board stating that he was thankful for having IBM.....for it had made him grow in such depth. I've dwelt on that statement for many years, now, and feel it to be one of the greatest gifts that Jim gave us.
Saturday will truly be a celebration of a wonderful life that none of us will ever forget. Marybeth Johnson
