Hi all, can't do much right now as I am sitting on the floor waiting for my husband to return from his outing with his son and grandson - went to lunch and show. I can't reach him or his son so I am assuming they are in the show right now. Went to a bday luncheon for a good friend and was concerned with the way my legs were feeling while I was in the restaurant. Managed the garage stairs and then when I went to place both feet on the hallway floor with the rollator, my legs collapsed. I was very grateful I fell in the house as opposed to the garage floor again. I have the phone handy but do not want to call the FD as they were here on 1-2 for the fall in the garage. I'm pretty confident my husband will be able to help me when he gets home. Just hope mother nature holds off. I scooted from the hallway into the living room hoping I could brace myself on the recliner, put my good leg under me and pull. But, I don't have the strength. Then scooted from the living room into the bedroom hoping to use the spindles on the end board to pull and get up on the bed and turn over. Can't do that because the material is not smooth enough to make it happen. Cat looked at me while I was scooting in here and just went back to sleeping. And pretty soon the battery on the laptop is going to run out and I won't have anything to do until husband gets home.
It's almost 3:30 Saturday and I've been waiting since close to 2. Hope you guys are having a better time than I am. I even "Binged" get up from fall but the video they show needs a person who's muscles are in much better condition! Life goes on around me luckily. |
