I see on your bio that you are from Ohio. Where in Ohio? I am from Ohio, too, in New Philadelphia, which is 90 miles south of Cleveland, and about 90 miles northeast of Columbus. We have a support group in the Columbus area. I was diagnosed with IBM in Mar. 2006 after many years of symptoms. I use a cane in the house and a walker when I go out because of poor balance. I use a wheelchair at the mall or anywhere where there's a lot of walking. I try to have a positive attitude, but it's difficult at times. I do have a good support system - my family and friends are the best! Diane |
