Dear Friends

Pat in Longwood, Annette in Spokane, Michell3 in Goldsboro

Since Jan 20, I have still the feet, pegs and calves swollen, even if in the last day the things are going better I don't know because my physiotherapist made me suitable massages or because of the time passed. As i written days ago un the board, the day in DH was terrible, there wasn't any free bed for adulta and i remained sitting on my power chair from 8.30 am to 6 pm!!! I thought also my head could get swollen !!
In my case the cause is very clear and the family doc advice when I am on the bed to keep the feet high.
In my life was anothertime with the legs swollen. five or six years ago my blood pressure increased to a veru high level and in the same time the legs became swollen. I am normallly hypotensive and that was inexpicable. I was at the First Aid in a near Hospital and arund the 2 am all was turned to normal, but the legs. It tooke a week because also these deflated. Here was a certain (?) cause, the blood pressure. The same in the case I have told above.

I well know that isn't of any help for you, Pat. Anyway have you haerd beyond the neuro or rheumo also a cardiologist? Here when also in normal person happens that, firstly doc think to a bloos circulation problem or of the functionality of the kidney.

Sorry if my msg is of no help, but I take the occasion the send you all my warmest regards from Italy.

Giancarlo/IBM

p.s. It is incredible bur I am not yet sure if the new situation, power chair, ceiling lifter... give me more freedom than the 5 years lived and the bed. Giancarlo ..... Call me as you want, anyway call me
