Hi Kathy and other Friends, At the beginning the prof. who diagnosed my IBM let me take besides 50 mg/day of prednisone, cretina 2 mg, spironolattone to compensare the loss of K due to the prednisone, Potassion (with K), other drugs I don't remember the name in the hope to stop or the slow very much the muscular degeneration. Seeing after abt 5 years that none ot these gave me any benefits (only to the chemist) month by month he reduced the doses and since 5 years i don't take anything as regarding the IBM.
