Thank you for your response. We do have a power chair and 2 stair lifts.The power chair is good for the inside/outside but not in the winter. We got the power chair through medical insurance and the stair lifts we purchased on craigslist.

Has anyone tried any of the medicines such as lithium?
There are many trials out there but our doctor states that lithium can cause diabetes,and that can be controlled.

If it would help,it would be so worth the trying.
