Thank you for your response.
My husband has always been independent.I let him do what he can. We are at the point if he needs help,he asks. This took a long time to get to.After many falls and broken bones ,he has come to the realization that there are things that he just needs help with.It is very hard on him and hard on me to watch him slowly need more and more help.We do talk and laugh. Try to keep it normal,as best as we can. With the winter weather ,he is stuck in the house, can not wait for spring so we can get out.Our youngest daughter is a very big help and her birthday is the same as your husbands. She is a sweetheart also. Happy Birthday to both.

Has anyone tried any of the medicines such as lithium?
There are many trials out there but our doctor states that lithium can cause diabetes, and that can be controlled.

If it would help,it would be so worth the trying.

We will keep in touch.
Thanks and God Bless.
