Hi all you nice people. I am Ken Linder, husband and caretaker of my wife Barbara. She has had IBM for over 15 years. She has developed pneumonia and is in the hospital getting treatment. She has dysphasia with very difficulty swallowing. The Dr's, have recommended that she have a stomach feeding tube surgically inserted into her stomach. We have little to no knowledge of this procedure and how it works, except for the Dr's explanation. Do any of you folks have any info or thoughts about this procedure and how they work out in the future. If she does not take this option, her chances for more pneumonia are very high. And even with the tube in place, she can still get pneumonia. Any advice, assistance, or info would be of great help. Thank you all so very much, Ken Linder, Caregiver of Barbara, IBM, Morro Bay, CA
