Hello all of you nice folks. Update on Barbara, her pneumonia has been cleared up with anti biotics, and she has had a PEG tube inserted into her stomach. It went very well, and no pain at all. She has moved from the hospital to a rehab facility, to finish off her 14 days of required anti-biotics. I have been feeding her through the tube, and it seems to be going quite well. She has regained some color in her face, and is feeling stronger, and she is receiving some physical therapy daily, to help her gain some strength that she lost in the past two months. Hopefully she will be able to get out of bed and perhaps start walking in her walker once again. It is a one day at a time program. I would like to take this opportunity to Thank all of you who gave us so much good information and advice that we needed to make our decision regarding the PEG tube. You are all so wonderful and kind and the Best Support Group in the World. Once Again, Thanks every so much. God Bless you all. Ken Linder, Care Giver for Barb, IBM, Morro Bay, CA
