Joyce:
You're not alone: When I used to stand for an hour or more in my shop, my knees would get to feeling like they were going to explode. After a short spell in my recliner, they would be o.k. again and I could work some more. Not so bad now, but standing less.
Now I work from my power chair instead, no more knee pain, but my hip sockets get very painful. Doc says it is from my bad discs, but I ain't buying it. If I recline chair, and stretch legs, the pain goes away for awhile.
While driving, pain starts in hip joints, progresses to back of thighs, left knee, back of calves. Have to stand up after 1/4 hour.
Before I sleep, I lie on my back, raise my knees with feet on mattress for 5-10 min, which seems to relax glute pain for the night.
What's next????? ???
