One of my IBM challenges has been twist type electrical switches, like the stove exhaust fan, speaker volumne, the floorlamp next to my power recliner, as I lose more and more of the flexibility and strength from my fingers.
Last night I was reading "Ride the Iron Rooster" and learned a great trick from the author Paul Theroux. Wrap a rubber band around twist switches, increasing the coefficient of friction and increasing the diameter to give you better leveredge. Carry one when traveling. ??? |
