The credit for recommending the Easy Pivot Patient Lift to me goes to Diana Kopulos. Thanks Diana.

I gave the credit in a recent post to Pat in error.

I received a call from an IBM'er from New Jersey last night and we were able to share some common concerns about lifts and other aids we all use or will need.

Seems like we're able to share more specific IBM info over the phone.

While I certainly appreciate all the advice we share with each other, I still feel like I'm all alone when it comes to making some important decisions regarding aids. I am gathering as much info as I can before making a buying decision but I never feel sure even when the decision is made.

Like the Patient Lift aid I'm about to buy. There are so many different types. I just tried to identify my basic lifting needs, look into the near future and hope that the choice I make will satisfy those needs. If my needs change in the future, I'll do what needs to be done at that time.

In the meantime, will we ever be able to start "gene therapy" and cure all IBM'ers? KJMarsala
