Thanks for the welcome. I have been lurking for several months and find the group so helpful and supportive. It is truly nice to not be alone.
I was diagnosed in June, 2007, but as with many of you I was suspicious that "something" was wrong for several years. So I am probably early in the disease, though I can barely get up steps, can't rise from chairs, fall a bit, and drop things regularly. I do use a cane when on uneven ground as I am paranoid about falling and breaking arms or legs (I need all my limbs).
So thanks to all of you who post of your experience and add words of comfort. You reach more people than you think.
