Hang in there, this is a tough road but worth the end result. You are in the right place and we can't tell you enough how prompt aggressive treatment will make the outcome better. Eric said, "it was tougher on my mom than on me". Not sure that's true, but moms want to take the struggle for their kids. Our JM kids develop amazing character from their experience. Help her find some new interests to distract her. At your point in the struggle, Eric sat on the couch, viewed every magic tape he could and ended up a "professional" magician by 8th grade. You're doing the right thing by talking about your struggles. Before Cure JM, most of us felt so alone, no one understood this disease and especially why it needed such aggressive treatment.
