Dear Jacquelyn, Thanks so much for your reply! The reality of the longevity of this disease is kicking in. I know that Lauren is in the best hands, and I also know that the aggressive treatment is necessary. As moms we do take on the struggles of our children, and I must say Lauren has been amazingly strong through all this. Like Eric, Lauren has taken advantage of her less active time to focus on her creativity. She loves to write in her journal, which has been great therapy for her since she often writes about "her sickness". She also loves arts and crafts. I look forward to seeing you again at our next visit - November 28th. Janet
