Things are a little better today... the Rheum and hematologist say it is ok to take that antibiotic. They will watch her more closely for the INR level (blood thinner), and she is only on 3mg of Prednisone, so that is not a big worry). They did take a sample of the bile to do a culture and if it is positive, a sensitivity. I asked about the gall bladder, they said they wanted to wait for the biopsies and culture to come back. I think she may need a gastric emptying study, something like that. |
