Hi All,I just wanted to share the good news with everyone. For the first time since Dominic started school in September he has been able to walk there for the past two days. He does get tired when we are close to the school but he teacher is really good at letting him rest when he needs to. Yesterday I took his wheelchair to pick him up and he got in it before we had gone to far. Today, because I was out at an appointment before I picked him up I didn't have his chair with me. He walked all the way home as well. There was a lot of complaining and he did rest for quite a while when we got home, but he did it! It is a 15 minute walk for us to get to his school so this is quite an accomplishment for him. I am so proud of him.
This weekend I actually got to see him running around outside behaving like all little boys should. It felt so good just to stand there and watch him playing and running around.
