Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia) is a symptom of JDM. If you read back through the posts you will see that a number of kids have difficulty swallowing. It's something that you should bring to the attention of your doctors and they may want to do some tests to see how affected your swallowing is. There are lots of information about JDM, it's treatments and their side affects available on the web.
