Just want to add that with ivig, even though you had the horrible side affect, ivig can still work........I had same reaction. Nurses worked with me on the infusion rate, SLOW makes a world of difference and it takes your body time to accept the treatment.......for me, I struggled with it for about 6 or 8 weeks and then it was like a miracle........no reactions, and I function rather normally now. I receive infusions every 2 weeks. It was a difficult beginning, but I am so glad I kept trying....had it not been for Sadiedawn, I may have given up.........she even phoned me and helped me through it.... Thanks go out to her!!!
