PhilIt is great to hear that you are sticking with the 2mg prednisone dose. I wish, once in a while, that I could get below 10 with out having all hell break loose.
What I really wanted to comment on is things that are hard on one's liver....pain killers and methotrexate....is don't know much about Imuran. Many moons ago I was using Tylenol for pain. I commented to my rheumatologist that I was taking more than I liked. He rather quickly said he did not like mixing moderate tylenol dosages and methotrexate since both are "hard" on the liver.....He gave me some hydorcodone (synthetic codeine) and I cut my acetaminophen to almost zero.
I realize your the careful type but why not throw caution to the wind and try being pain free? I can see the headline now: "Man arrested for indecent behavior....tiptoeing nude through the tulips.....blames it on Ultram and Polymyositis."
