Phil, Was about to post similar to yours but without the bronchitis. Had a CT-Scan yesterday morning for checking on the lungs (ILD) for my next pulmonologist appt on Apr 26 where I also get a pulmonary function test (I hope he will finally take me off oxygen since I have been on it since early December). When the CT-Scan was done, I tried to get off the table having been lying pretty much flat with the head slightly raised on that thin platform they move. Wasn't going to happen, couldn't raise the back, couldn't get purchase for the arms to assist, didn't trust tossing the legs to the side and not falling off the other side onto the back. Tried a couple of times before letting the tech give me a hand. It was the first time since being on the prednisone that I had run into the back being to weak. I guess I had found alternate ways of getting up out of bed (rotating on side, using arms, shifting weight up onto pillows) to not even consider weakness in the back. We learn new things all the time, don't we. Had gotten call earlier from Rheumy with good CPK results in the normal range like yours, as well, so had been feeling good about that but had been running into lower energy levels/fatiguing quicker. Had assumed the reduction in prednison from 60 to 30/40 alternate was the cause on lower energy. Have fun with the genealogy. I am still pretty much stuck with the internet stuff on mine, although I hope to eventually track the other records down but those interesting records are a few thousand miles away in PA and Washington D.C.
